 There's this guy who asked my friend for my number and started texting me. I like him so i was pretty happy except he has a girlfriend. He would normally start the conversation but then he stopped texting me so I tried starting the conversation but he didn't really seem like he put an effort into keeping the conversation going and it happened every time I tried texting him. I'm way too nervous to talk to him face to face. I know he has a girlfriend but I don't know what to do. any advice?

hmm this is tricky. i think that maybe this guy has realised that he needs to stop leading you on because he has a girlfriend and he thinks that the only way to do that is to stop talking to you completely. as hard as it is i think that maybe you should just try and forget about him, honestly he isnt worth your time and you deserve to be with someone better then that. xxxx

 the other day I was really over everything, I just had a fight with my brother and sister and I just wanted to run away, I thought about cutting. I was going to, but then I remembered what it did to my friend. actually not sure if we are friends anymore but I thought of what cutting did to her. she has stopped but it ruined her life. so I didn't. I want to thank her but we don't talk anymore. I always thought that we would always be BFFs. I guess not.

im so proud of you for not cutting, its a bad habit to get in to and good on you for staying strong and not doing it. even thought you and your old bff arent close anymore im sure she would love to know that her story has helped you, maybe you should let her know that.

 -continued:it really sucks because whenever I tell her I like someone, it's like she doesn't even care about how I feel & makes it seem like I dont have a chance with him. She went on about how if they were both single, she'd go out with him & how he texts her everyday. it really hurts because sometimes it seems like shes doing it on purpose just to hurt me. Then she tries to give me advice telling me to talk to him the way she does like i dont know how to talk to him myself. what do i do? :(

well to be honest, i think that you should probably just stop telling your friend when you like someone because its not worth having to suffer as she is all over him. you could try telling another one of your friends maybe? or just talk to your friend and let her know that you like him alot! and you dont like the way they are so close. try talking to the guy you like with your friend around first to get conversation going, then you can talk to him without her there eventually. goodluck, and tell me how it goes soon! xxx

 I like this guy and my best friend knows. Today, I was talking to her and she went on about how they're really good friends, how he's so good looking, how he always complimented her and joked around with her and saying how they're married even though they both have a boyfriend/girlfriend. she went on about how they always text each other and how they're each other's "second boyfriend/girlfriend"- continued

 i feel like i shouldn't be alive. things are tough with my dad, he's always been verbally and sometimes physically abusive to me, and now that he's remarried he treats his wife with so much respect and love, and ignores me because i dont fit into his new life. he always tells me how much he wants to send me to live with my mother because he cant stand having me around. like im a nuisance, like im such a drag on his perfect existence. i just cant handle this constant hurt, please help me

you shouldnt feel like that. you deserve to be alive just as much as anyone else. i think that you should talk to another trusted adult (maybe your mum or someone at school) about your dad being abusive. you shouldnt have to live going through that, please tell someone you shouldnt be hurting. xxx

 i like this guy but hes a year older and we're into completely different things. we've only spoken to each other a few times and recently, he went on a date with this girl and now i think they're dating. every time i see him, i get all nervous and i dont know what to do. i want to talk to him but i dont want to get my hopes up on thinking i have a chance and only to find out that he wouldn't like me 'cause im younger even though its only a year difference...

you should talk to him. find out whats happening with him and this other girl, you never know they’re theyre just friends. talk to him and get close with him, hang out a bit and see how he feels about you, maybe you guys would be good for eachother, but if not theyres plenty of other guys, they come and go. its only one year difference, he shouldnt mind, but if he does its not worth it anyway. xxx

 im failing in school. im trying my best, ive deleted facebook and stuff to stop distractions but, it doesnt work. because im failing ive been putting myself down and noone suspects anything. my bestfriend keeps ignoring me with everything. i say 'hey' she ignores it. i ask her a question but nothing. i really need her help but i dont want to upset her because shes got problems that are way more important then mine so i keep my mouth shut. please help me. with school and my bestfirend..

you need to find someone else who you can talk to. your problems are just as important as anyone else’s, about school maybe you could talk to your parents about it. I’m sure they will want to help, a tutor? or try talking to your teachers to get some extra help? were always here to talk xxx

 i really like this guy and i think he might maybe possibly like me too but whenever we talk on bbm or whatever i feel like im annoying him but when we skype or talk face to face its all chilled idek ah x x x

i think you should defs keep talking to this guy, find out or get one of your friends to find out if he likes you, and just keep talking to him :) xxx
